BRAULIO E DUJALI MUNICIPALITY PROFILE
The municipality of Braulio E Dujali was created pursuant to Republic Act 8473, “An Act Creating the Municipality of Braulio E Dujali”. For the other purposes, signed into Law by President Fidel V Ramos on the 30th day of January 1998. Its creation as the youngest municipality of the country was affirmed and ratified in a plebiscite held for the purpose on 07 March 2008 where the people of the three (3) barangays from Carmen namely: Magumpising, Cabayangan and New Casay overwhelmingly voted “YES” to ratify the law. It has five (5) barangays with a total land area of 9,100 hectares with a population of 18,050 (now 26,000). It is bounded on the North by the municipality of Sto. Tomas, on the South by the municipality of Carmen, on the East by the City of Tagum and on the West by the City of Panabo. The seat of government of the municipality is in Barangay Dujali with Honorable Gregorio S Facula enjoying the legacy of first elected municipal Mayor and served for three consecutive terms. At present, Hon Lolita A Moral is serving the public in her first term in office. BRAULIO E DUJALI POLICE STATION TRANSITION
The Braulio E Dujali Police Station was established effective 01 April 1998 pursuant to General Orders Nr DPL-98-01, directorate for Plans, NHQS, Philippine National Police, Camp Crame, Quezon City with permanent site at the government center in the municipality of Braulio E Dujali, Davao del Norte. It became operational however, on 04 May 1998. The Police Station at present is temporarily occupying at the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) office. However, the construction of permanent Police Station is going on and now in its 60% completion. It is located at the heart of the municipality with about 700 square meters donated by the LGU. The permanent location is more or less 13 kilometers away from DNPPO and 45 kilometers from headquarters PRO 11.
