(An Act converting the municipality of Tagum, Davao Province, into a component city of Tagum) Took effect January 19, 1998
Tagum City Police Station was created by virtue of Republic Act No. 8472 (An Act converting the municipality of Tagum, Davao Province, into a component city of Tagum) which took effect last January 19, 1998. Section 2 of this act, states “CITY OF TAGUM – The municipality of Tagum is hereby converted into a component city of Tagum, herein referred to as the city, which shall comprise of the present territory of the municipality of Tagum, Davao Province, particularly consisting of the barangay of Apokon, Bincungan, Busaon, Canocotan, Cuambogan, La Filipina, Liboganon, Madaum, Magdum, Mankilam, San Isidro, New Balamban, Nueva Puerza, Pagsabangan, Pandapan, Magugpo Poblacion, Magugpo North, Magugpo South, Magugpo East, San Agustin, San Isidro, San Miguel, Visayan Village”. Previously known as Tagum Police Station, this act known as the charter of Tagum subsequently converted the same to Tagum City Police Station. |
