AGI/ORSITE 2010. On July 26 – 30, 2010, the Annual General Inspection/Operational Readiness Security Inspection Test and Evaluation (AGI/ORSITE) 2010 was conducted in PRO 11 by the PNP- AGI/ORSITE team led by its team leader PCSUPT ENRICO G SALAPONG. The team inspected PRO 11 Headquarters, Davao City Police Office, Davao Sur Police Provincial Office, Davao Norte Police Provincial Office, Comval Police Provincial Office, Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office and National Support Units. The week-long activities started with an entrance briefing, followed by the actual field inspection and it ended with an exit briefing. The AGI-ORSITE results are the basis for choosing the best PNP units in the country. Due to its readiness and superb operational and administrative accomplishments, PRO 11 has a high hope of retaining its title as “the best Police Regional Office nationwide. (See More)

At around 9:00 A.M. of July 16, 2010, the Regional Disaster Coordinating Council (RDCC) XI conducted fun games held at the Basketball Court of PRO 11 Headquarters, in line with the celebration of the National Disaster Consciousness Month with the theme, “Pag Alerto, Malayo sa Peligro.” The activities were participated in by the representatives of different member-agencies of RDCC XI. PRO 11 Regional Director and RDCC XI Chairman PCSUPT PEDRO U TANGO delivered his inspirational message during the opening ceremony. (See More)

Santacruzan at Catitipan

At around 4:00 PM of May 31, 2010, PNP personnel and dependents of PRO 11 Headquarters conducted their own version of “Santacruzan.” This is traditionally being done by PRO 11 every year to join our country in celebrating the merry month of May and in honoring our Blessed Mother Mary. ( See More )

SASA POLICE RESCUES A JAPANESE CHILD

Elements of Sasa Police Station, Davao City Police Office led by PSupt Alden B Delvo, COP, successfully rescued late Friday night (April 2, 2010) a two-year-old Japanese child (Tuki Takahashi), who was abducted Holy Tuesday (March 30, 2010) from her residence at Landmark 1, Panacan, Davao City.

Rollete Takahashi, victim’s mother, reported that her child was missing at about 5:45 PM last March 31. A police operation was launched the following day. One Romnick Pepito was invited to the police precinct as he was captured in a video by Rollete as the last man holding the child.

At about 11:45 PM of April 2, 2010, the child was rescued unharmed from the hands of Hera Marie Lacerna, Christine Angel Pepito and Dennis Busco at St. Joseph - The Worker Church, Sasa, Davao City. They allegedly brought the child in the said area upon instructions of Romnick, who is a relative by affinity and a neighbor of the victim.

Cases for Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention have been filed against the suspects in connection with the abduction.
